April 07, 2008. The following are some of most important updates in the Global IP Law Service's practice and legislation. - Republic of Kosovo:
On February 17, 2008 Kosovo declared independence from Serbia. Kosovo was part of Serbia but had been administered by the United Nations since 1999. Local authorities had already set up an Intellectual Property Office in Pristina in November 2007. The following sections have been created in the Global IP Law Service:
