- London Agreement:
On May 1, 2008 the London Agreement on the application of European Patent Convention, Article 65 entered into force. The London Agreement aims to reduce translation costs for patents granted by the European Patent Office (EPO) by waiving, entirely or in large part, the requirement to file a translation of the patent into an official language.
